Brisbane detective Clint Robinson, now retired, takes a leisurely ocean cruise to try and offset the loss of his darling wife Eveline who died of cancer recently.
 
Little did he know that this trip would change his life forever, when a bunch of jewel smugglers on board threatened to kill him. He is joined in his fight to survive by Anne, a beautiful young lady half his age.
