This is the story of three young girls, Carol, Vicky and Eliza; all born only a few years apart to the same mother; Shelby Adams. The first two girls were adopted to upstanding parents living in the community of Kansas City, Missouri.
Sometime later, when Eliza was a teenager, the two older girls decided to search for their younger sister and their mother. This is a heart-wrenching story of what happens along the way, and the problems they all faced together, but it has a happy ending.
